In this pivotal role, you will closely collaborate with the executive team, overseeing key financial functions like budgeting, audits, compliance, and risk management. Additionally, the CFO will partner with department heads to ensure financial strategies align with the organization's objectives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; a master’s degree in business, economics, finance, or nonprofit management is preferred.
• Minimum of six years of leadership experience in nonprofit financial management, including budgeting, reporting, and audits.
• Proven expertise in managing government contracts and regulatory compliance processes.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact tactfully and respectfully with diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with staff, vendors, consultants, and board members.
• Familiarity with City and County of San Francisco contracts and state-level funding mechanisms.
• Proficiency in financial systems, budgeting tools, and forecasting methodologies.
• Experience in presenting financial data to boards and senior leadership teams.
