About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief of Staff to the President. The successful candidate will be a strategic partner and trusted advisor, with a critical role in advancing the institution's vision and goals. This position requires a strong understanding of and appreciation for a residential liberal arts experience, and the ability to operate with discretion in a complex environment. The Chief of Staff will be responsible for supervising staff in the President's office, managing key initiatives, and enhancing the overall operational effectiveness of the office. They must possess superb communication skills, serve as a key liaison between the president and various stakeholders, and ensure the successful execution of institutional priorities. Applicants for the Chief of Staff position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 7-10 years' experience advising or supporting senior executives in large, complex organizations. Experience in higher education is preferred. The role demands demonstrated leadership, organizational, and management skills, particularly in a fast-paced environment, as well as strong project management abilities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of cultivating relationships across a wide range of constituents and possess superb writing skills, with expertise in executive positioning and crisis communications. The Chief of Staff will be instrumental in enhancing organizational efficiency and facilitating communication, and must be prepared to manage multiple projects simultaneously to drive results.
