Job Details Description ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervise a minimum of 1800 accounts and/or 6 employees in a depot or across two depots. Enforce organization policies, procedures, and applicable federal and state laws. Conduct interviews, hiring, training, performance appraisals, rewards, discipline, and address employee complaints. Collaborate with the District Manager to ensure depot performance in KPIs and safety compliance.

DAILY TASKS:

Manage and approve employee payroll. Train drivers on DOT Hours of Service using tracking devices and payroll systems. Perform daily and monthly audits of vehicles, equipment, and facilities for compliance with OSHA/DOT standards. Review and respond to emails professionally and promptly. Monitor route completion and productivity reports. Adjust workloads in routing systems for deliveries and services. Review service and installation activities following SOPs. Manage inventory reporting and updates. Send product level readings to suppliers and coordinate deliveries via inventory software. Submit trip records for apportion plated vehicles. Approve timesheets for payroll processing.

MONTHLY TASKS:

Send safety sign-off sheets to the Safety Manager. Complete safety audits, including OSHA, VKPI, and DOT compliance. Conduct end-of-month inventory counts. Review vehicle preventive maintenance schedules and coordinate services. Report monthly vehicle mileage. Adhere to P-Card policies.

ANNUAL TASKS:

Conduct employee performance reviews and driver training. Participate in ride-alongs and review Smith System safety processes. Perform VK inspections on bulk trucks if certified.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Leadership skills to motivate teams with a safety-first, goal-oriented approach. Ability to interpret SOPs, technical procedures, and regulations. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to follow instructions in various formats. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Knowledge of permitting procedures where applicable. Basic math skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience with UltiPro Payroll, inventory control, and related software is preferred.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING:

High school diploma or GED required. College degree is a plus but not mandatory.

EXPERIENCE:

Must be at least 21 years old. Minimum two years supervisory experience preferred. Clean driving record per NuCO2 safety standards. Mechanical aptitude and basic construction knowledge required. Experience in plumbing, cable installation, or construction is preferred. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: CDL Class A or B (preferred, can be obtained upon hire). Hazmat and Tanker endorsements (preferred, can be obtained upon hire). No restrictions on air brakes. Medical card (preferred, can be obtained upon hire). Maintain boiler license where applicable. INTERACTIONS: This role interacts with all organizational levels and external customers. COMMUNICATION AND COGNITIVE SKILLS: Adhere to safety procedures. Maintain integrity in all job aspects.
