The Environmental Working Group (EWG), a leading environmental health research and advocacy organization, seeks a Digital Marketing Copywriter for its Washington, D.C., office.
Since 1993, EWG has shined a spotlight on outdated legislation, harmful agricultural practices and industry loopholes that pose a risk to our health and the health of our environment.

EWG is seeking a talented and creative Digital Marketing Copywriter to join our Marketing and Communications team. This role is all about writing clear, compelling, action-driving copy across our key digital channels – including email, social media and web pages. You’ll help turn EWG’s important research into engaging content that grows our audience, inspires action and drives donations.
EWG’s digital platforms reach nearly 30 million website visitors annually and power a mission-driven community committed to protecting health and the environment. If you’re a digital-first writer who thrives in fast-paced environments, knows what makes people click and loves using words to motivate and mobilize – this role is for you.

Experience in a nonprofit or newsroom environment preferred.
Working knowledge of SEO best practices and metrics preferred.
Location: Washington, D.C., office.
Benefits: Annual salary range up to $70,000. Salary is commensurate with experience. EWG offers fully paid, excellent health care, paid parental leave and a tax-deferred 403(b) plan, including matched contributions.
