🎯 Your Mission

As Director of Culinary Operations , you’ll play a central leadership role—managing all back-of-house operations, guiding the culinary vision, supporting client execution, and ensuring excellence in every dish served and every event delivered.

You will:

  • Lead and mentor kitchen and operations staff across production and events
  • Oversee staffing, logistics, and BOH scheduling for seamless daily execution
  • Collaborate on seasonal menus and recipe development that reflects the brand’s philosophy
  • Maintain top-tier food quality, presentation, and consistency
  • Partner with the Director of Sales to ensure smooth event execution and client satisfaction
  • Build and manage relationships with vendors, focusing on responsible sourcing
  • Ensure strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and compliance standards
  • Contribute to business development strategies and support operational growth

You’re a creative and strategic culinary leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and cares deeply about food integrity, team development, and operational excellence. You’ve led kitchens before—ideally in the catering or events world —and you’re ready to bring your talents to a mission-driven company that values both innovation and authenticity.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years in a senior culinary leadership role (Corporate Executive Chef, Culinary Director, etc.)
  • Prior experience in catering, events, or large-scale culinary operations
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen systems, recipe standardization, inventory control, and BOH workflows
  • Skilled in staff leadership, team development, and vendor management
  • Familiarity with systems like TripleSeat, QuickBooks, and scheduling platforms
  • Passion for seasonal, sustainably sourced, produce-led food
  • Fluent in English (Spanish is a plus)
  • Agile, proactive, and excited to help build something meaningful

  • Base Salary : $120,000–$125,000
  • Performance Bonus : Up to 10% annually (Total compensation up to $140K)
  • PTO : 12 paid days off + all major public holidays
  • Healthcare : Medical, dental, and vision insurance (with $400 monthly company contribution)
  • Tech & Communication : Company laptop + $50 monthly cell phone stipend
  • Schedule : Monday to Friday, approx. 8AM–5PM (with flexibility around event schedules)
