Pay is based on the applicant's relevant experience. Position Summary: Join our team as a Medical Assistant I, where you will play a crucial role in providing patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our pediatric practice. Key Responsibilities: Assist with patient care under the supervision of a healthcare provider or nurse. Perform basic clinical skills and specimen collection; monitor and document changes in patient conditions. Maintain and manage medical equipment and supplies, including ordering and cleaning examination areas. Execute administrative tasks such as filing, scheduling, and patient registration to ensure efficient clinic operations. Utilize critical thinking and decisive judgment to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Qualifications: Education: High School diploma or GED. Licensure/Certification: CMA/RMA and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Experience: No prior experience required. BLS certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross and must be valid prior to the start date.
