Position: Housekeeper | Vogue Recovery AZ | Full-Time Shift: Thursday - Monday

Here at Vogue Recovery AZ, we are one of the leaders in our industry in the Metropolis area. We are seeking to hire a seasoned Housekeeper/Janitor to join our growing team. If you are a detail-oriented worker who has compassion for those struggling in the beginning of recovery.

Job Duties: Housekeeper

  • The Housekeeper cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them
  • Remove waste and empty trash
  • The Housekeeper cleans windows and mirrors
  • Complete all facility laundry
  • The Housekeeper cleans and supplies restrooms
  • Maintain cleaning chart indicating areas that were cleaned and inspected
  • The Housekeeper replenishes cleaning and maintenance supplies
  • Organize janitorial storage areas
  • Notify supervisors about unsafe conditions or concerning the need for repairs or maintenance
  • Other duties as assigned

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • Ability to observe safety and security procedures and to comply with policies
  • Ability to read and interpret written information; ability to write clear statements; ability to communicate orally
  • Must be able to do physical work and operate power equipment normally found in janitorial and housekeeping operations
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to follow schedules and keep commitments
  • Ability to follow directions from a supervisor and to demonstrate professionalism
  • Must be able to manage time efficiently and to work individually as well as within a team

Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret human service periodicals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports and analyze policies and procedures. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and the general public. Bilingual Speaker preferred.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Computer Skills:
No computer skills are required for this position.

Must have reasonable ability to do the following:
Stand, walk and sit during assigned shifts hours.

Have the ability to manually handle patient belongings with gloved hands.
Climb and reach or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Speak and have access to the special senses within normal limits (hear, taste, smell, etc.) Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
Must be capable of lifting up to 20 pounds.
