Job Description
Claiborne Hauling is currently seeking a strategic and people-focused Human Resources Administrator to oversee HR operations and ensure they're aligned with our business goals. The HR Administrator will lead the HR staff, develop policies, support employee engagement, and implement effective human resource strategies. This role is vital in shaping the organizational culture and maintaining a productive and compliant workplace.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Staffing
Oversee the recruitment, selection, and onboarding process.
Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and ensure timely hiring.
Employee Relations
Act as a point of contact for employee concerns or conflicts.
Mediate disputes and ensure a fair and respectful workplace.
Performance Management
Implement and manage performance review systems.
Support managers in setting goals, giving feedback, and employee development planning. HR Policy & Compliance
Develop and update HR policies and procedures in compliance with labor laws.
Ensure consistent policy application and maintain employee handbook.
Compensation & Benefits
Administer payroll, benefit programs, and leave policies.
Conduct market research to ensure competitive compensation.
Training & Development
Identify employee development needs and coordinate training programs.
Promote career development and succession planning.
HR Metrics & Reporting
Track and report on key HR metrics (e.g., turnover, engagement, time-to-hire).
Use data to improve HR practices and support decision-making.
Qualifications
Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role (2+ years).
Strong knowledge of labor law, HR best practices, and HRIS systems.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Preferred Skills
Experience with organizational development and change management.
Proficiency in HR software and systems (specifically Paycor).
Work Environment
This is a full-time onsite position.
