This small, established, and well-respected firm is hiring a Design Assistant/Junior Designer to assist with various tasks required across multiple residential design projects at any given time. We are based in Dallas TX but serve clientele in both the DFW and North Atlanta markets.

We are seeking a detail-oriented candidate with associated educational credentials and professional experience preferably in high-end residential interior design. This role will require the successful candidate to thrive with multi-tasking, have an innate creative eye, be able to work independently at a consistently fast pace, and work directly with and alongside the Principal designer.

You will be solely responsible for the timely submission of all CAD renderings as directed and designed by the Principal designer.

This role is responsible for accurately submitting purchase orders for furnishings and materials associated with projects, monitoring and tracking all orders, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods to project sites, the office, or our warehouse. You will accompany the Principal designer to all client meetings to capture accurate notes, take required measurements and photographs, and compete any other administrative tasks as required. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for managing client proposals and basic invoicing, with some experience in Houzz or QuickBooks preferred.

Being able to stay on top of details specific to multiple projects simultaneouly is critical. This role also requires you to work very closely with both our Accounting Manager/CPA and provide video and photo content to our Social Media Manager.

CAD and Design Presentations

As an interior design firm we are responsible for providing professional design presentations, CAD renderings, and design drawings for all parties on a project, including clients, contractors, and fabricators. This is a key responsibility of this role as the ideal candidate will utilize CAD programs to support the designer in design presentations as needed.
