This requires candidates who are nimble and innovative in their application of instructional design principles. Using your creative skills and project awareness, the successful candidate will create interactive and engaging methods to communicate instructional content, as well as provide feedback on team members' materials. The candidate will develop various instructional materials including classroom-based training, online training, performance support tools, self-paced guides, case studies, and job aids. This role is based onsite in Laurel, MD. Key Responsibilities Work as part of an instructional design team under the supervision of a Senior Learning Solutions Designer and/or Project Manager. Design, develop, and document instructor-led, paper-based, and responsive technology-delivered curricula and performance support solutions. Participate in the development and review of products for adherence to style and storyboard guidelines, writing standards, course/task flow, and standards such as SCORM conformance and Section 508 compliance. Basic Qualifications 2 years of relevant work experience 1 year of ISD experience Bachelor’s Degree Ability to pass a federal agency check Preferred Skills/Experience Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design preferred Experience in the full life cycle of instructional systems design (ISD) with development of blended learning solutions that are Section 508-compliant and SCORM-conformant Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint Knowledge of Section 508 requirements for course design Experience with rapid development tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) Experience with design tools (Adobe Creative Suite) Familiarity with Communities of Practice and online collaboration tools Experience serving Federal clients Experience in consulting environments Professional Skills Ability to develop clear storyboards for programmers, including graphics, audio scripts, interactions, and navigation Excellent command of English for effective communication Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools Broad knowledge of human-computer interaction and performance-centered design Working at ICF ICF is a global advisory and technology services provider, combining expertise with cutting-edge technology to solve complex challenges.
