Lease Records Analyst (onsite)

Walker Elliott is recruiting for experienced Lease Records Analyst to join Land Administration team at a Houston-based upstream oil and gas company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Texas lease records, a degree in a related field, and experience integrating and managing digital land data in systems. This role supports the Land Administration team in maintaining accurate lease records and ensuring timely payment obligations.

Responsibilities:

• Enter and update lease agreements, rights-of-way, and units in land systems (P2 Land preferred)
• Process ownership changes, amendments, and releases
• Monitor producing acreage and update agreements as production begins
• Support monthly lease payment obligations and related documentation
• Collaborate with Landmen and Division Order Analysts to ensure ownership accuracy
• Respond to lease-related inquiries and assist with acquisition-related data integration
• Help identify and correct data inconsistencies across systems and digital records

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree required
• 3+ years of oil & gas land administration experience
• Strong knowledge of Texas lease records
• Experience with P2 Land or a comparable land system
• Comfort with digital file management and data cleanup
