Job Function:

\n

• Day Shift.
\n
• 8:30am - 5pm.
\n

• Provide prescribed or emergency care to patients requiring professional nursing services, including venipuncture, dressing changes, straight catheterization, suctioning, and immunizations.

  \n
\n

• Teach and supervise family members, auxiliary nursing personnel, or others giving care through one-on-one instruction and educational in-services.

  \n
\n

• Perform diagnostic tests as authorized by the Primary Care provider (PCP) and obtain laboratory specimens when needed.

  \n
\n

• Provide treatment under medical direction and assess, evaluate, and report the patient's physical and emotional condition, reactions to medications, treatments, or critical laboratory results.

\n

• Maintain up-to-date patient records and report pertinent patient information to the physician.

  \n
\n

\n

Job Requirements:

\n

• 2 years of RN experience.

  \n
\n

• Active New York State Registered Nurse license.

  \n
\n

• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred).

  \n
\n

• Proficiency in IV insertion, EKG monitoring, and phlebotomy.

  \n
\n

• 2 years of administrative experience in a management capacity in a certified home health agency (CHHA), long-term home health care (LHCSA), acute care, medical-surgical, critical care, nursing home experience, or diagnostic & treatment clinic preferred.
