Mandatory Skills:
Manufacturing & Process Planning experience in Flight Control system parts.
Job Description:
· Minimum of 8 years of proven experience in manufacturing and process planning, including machining, assembly, welding, fabrication, casting, forging, and special processes (e.g., heat treatment, NDT, coating).
· Manufacturing experience in flight control system parts and assemblies (e.g., horizontal stabilizer control system, rotary thrust-vector control system, rudder, flight control actuator, rudder actuator) is an added advantage.
· Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to review product defects, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventive actions and process improvements.
· Create quality notifications for defective parts, perform preliminary reviews, identify the location, feature, and dimension of the defect, determine the root cause, and prepare the necessary evidence and recommendations for defect disposition.
· Create or validate rework/repair procedures to ensure that products meet specifications following corrective action.
· Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma tools, and process optimization techniques.
· Familiarity with GD&T and the ability to interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
· Create and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
· Thorough understanding of aerospace industry quality standards, including AS9100 and AS9102.
· Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and solve a wide range of complex problems using innovative and practical approaches. Capable of evaluating alternative solutions that may require coordination across multiple teams.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
· Hands-on experience with Solumina and ERP systems.
· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
· Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
