Sells new or used vehicles at a profit to the dealership, while ensuring customer satisfaction. Essential duties include meeting dealership sales goals, greeting customers, determining vehicle preferences, explaining features, demonstrating vehicle operation, suggesting optional equipment, computing and quoting sales prices, completing sales paperwork, arranging delivery and registration, researching model availability, engaging in business development, addressing customer concerns, maintaining CSI standards, keeping work area organized and safe, participating in training, recording hours worked, following safeguards rules, demonstrating company core values, complying with policies and procedures, and observing safety rules. Qualifications include a high school diploma, up to 3 years of automotive-related experience, prior sales or customer service experience, valid driver's license, automobile salesperson license, intermediate Microsoft Office skills, effective communication, regular attendance including evenings/weekends/holidays, physical ability to stand, walk, sit, and talk, and ability to work indoors and outdoors.
