Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) degree, active Physical Therapy Assistant license, and 1+ years Physical Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school-based Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) position is available at an elementary school located in Somerton, AZ. This is a contracted role for the full school year, offering an opportunity to work directly within an educational environment supporting students' physical therapy needs.

Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy services to elementary school children under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Monitor student progress and document outes in pliance with school and regulatory requirements
• Assist in adapting activities and environments to promote student participation and mobility
• Support health and wellness initiatives within the school setting

Qualifications:

• Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy (for PTs) from an accredited institution
• Proven experience as a Physical Therapist or Assistant, with preferred experience in school settings
• Strong munication and collaboration skills to effectively engage with children, families, and school teams
