Description NOTE - POSITION IS LOCATED IN NORWALK/LOWER FAIRFIELD COUNTY Summary Under the direction of the VP of Network Development, this position supports the growing business development needs of Nuvance Health. The Liaison is responsible for coordinating and implementing effective outreach programs to meet growth goals for Nuvance Health and its affiliates. This includes participating in initiatives to achieve service line objectives, retaining existing business, and developing new business. Under the VP's guidance, the Liaison identifies opportunities, resolves service issues related to the medical staff and referring physicians, provides education on new services and programs, and improves communication between providers. Responsibilities Collaborate with Physicians and Nuvance Institutes/Service Lines to ensure strategic goals are implemented and achieved. Promote the organization’s image through sales and outreach activities. Research potential opportunities and trends, and communicate findings to leadership. Conduct targeted outreach to physician offices based on strategic priorities. Prepare for office visits with objectives, discovery questions, and objection handling; document outcomes. Visit targeted physician offices within the assigned region. Meet with staff and providers to build rapport, address issues, and resolve concerns. Demonstrate excellent customer service and serve as a resource for staff and physicians. Analyze network activity and trends to identify and resolve issues, supporting ambulatory growth. Develop and implement communication plans for onboarding new physicians, services, and programs. Distribute relevant communication materials supporting outreach efforts. Support special projects and functions as needed. Ensure compliance with all responsibilities related to the position. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 1-3 years of external field-based sales and some program/project management experience. Experience in medical group operations, hospital, or healthcare fields preferred. Working Conditions Primarily sedentary with light physical effort. May exert up to 10 lbs. of force. Generally pleasant working environment with minimal occupational risk.
