We’re searching for a driven, strategic, and people-focused General Manager to lead our Orlando and Lakeland branches. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader in the residential skilled trades service industry to make a direct impact by driving business growth, building high-performing teams, and delivering world-class service.
Position SummaryThe General Manager is responsible for the overall leadership and success of two branch locations. This role combines financial oversight, operational excellence, and team leadership to ensure sustainable growth and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings strong business acumen, and has a passion for developing leaders and technicians alike.
Important: This is a residential service business (not commercial or new construction). Prior experience leading operations in plumbing services is required to be successful in this role.
Key Responsibilities Financial & Business ManagementOwn and oversee multiple branch P&L statements , meeting financial goals and adhering to budgets.
Monitor and optimize technician KPIs including conversion rates, average ticket size, call-backs, and customer reviews.
Analyze financial performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
Directly manage branch leadership roles (Service Managers/Field Supervisors) along with Technicians, Installers, and Advisors.
Take a “leader of leaders” approach—set clear goals, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide actionable coaching.
Develop and execute training programs that foster a culture of learning, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Maintain a positive and productive work environment through effective employee relations management.
Lead branch-level projects that enhance operations and drive strategic growth.
Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to ensure initiatives are completed on time and within budget.
Maintain organized, efficient, and professional branch facilities.
Enforce safety protocols and maintain compliance with OSHA standards .
Conduct regular safety audits and address issues promptly.
Leverage ServiceTitan CRM to generate business opportunities, provide estimates, and convert jobs.
Resolve escalated customer concerns with a focus on satisfaction, retention, and 5-star service delivery.
Required: Previous leadership experience in residential service trades (plumbing) .
Required: Prior Branch Manager or General Manager experience in residential service plumbing.
Proven leadership experience managing multi-unit operations and developing managers.
Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and P&Ls.
5+ years supervisory experience in residential skilled trades.
Proficiency with CRM systems (ServiceTitan preferred).
Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Strategic and analytical thinking.
Ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
Dedication to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction .
Base Salary: $80,000 – $100,000 (DOE)
Performance Pay: Top-performing General Managers earn $250,000+ annually
