Job Description

A part-time School Counselor position is available to provide critical guidance and support to students from 1st through 12th grade, primarily focusing on grades 5-12. This role runs from September 1, 2025, through May 31, 2026, with flexible scheduling options of either one full day per week or two half-day sessions weekly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver counseling services tailored to the academic, social, and emotional needs of students.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student development.
• Assist students in goal setting, conflict resolution, and coping strategies.
• Maintain confidential records and documentation in compliance with school policies.
• Participate in student intervention and referral processes as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid Pennsylvania Counselor Certification.
• Ability to obtain Pennsylvania Clearances prior to start date.
• Experience with K-12 student populations, with a preference for working with upper elementary through high school grades.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive school environment.
