As a Patrol Armed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will play a crucial role in supporting a secure environment at a government location. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior and report any security-related incidents or hazards according to established protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence while on patrol to help to deter potential security-related issues.
• Carry and operate a firearm in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific policies, maintaining readiness for emergency situations.
• Complete required documentation and reports related to incidents, patrols, and daily activities.
• Collaborate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and site personnel as needed during incidents or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
