Job Title: Tool & Die – Job Estimator & Designer

💲 Compensation: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour

🕒 Schedule: 8-hour day shift (Monday–Friday)

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Tool & Die – Job Estimator & Designer to join a dynamic and quality-focused manufacturing team. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in tool and die design , cost estimation , and stamping die processes . The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, production, and customer teams to deliver accurate estimates and high-performance tooling designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze project blueprints and technical specifications to generate precise cost estimates for die tooling
• Design stamping dies (progressive, transfer, and line dies) using 3D modeling software
• Prepare accurate quotations, overlays, and processing workflows
• Collaborate with engineering and production departments to refine tooling designs and ensure manufacturability
• Communicate project details with customers and provide timely updates on design and quote status
• Review and integrate engineering change orders (ECOs) into project documentation and design updates
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in tooling processes and design standards

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in tool and die design and estimation
• Proficiency in CATIA is required
• Strong knowledge of metal stamping and manufacturing processes
• Experience preparing quotes and estimating tooling costs
• Ability to interpret complex technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities
