Compensation Details:$53000 - $62000Job Description:Ace Hardware Home Services of NJ is an established, growth-oriented HVAC company with locations in Linwood and Pittsgrove, NJ. Ace Hardware Home Services has a growing roster of services which now include plumbing, cooling, heating, and electrical. Ace is now better positioned to serve more homeowners who are seeking to have many home maintenance projects completed for them in a quality manner performed by trained professionals from brands they can trust.The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for leading the warehouse team to serve the needs of our entire team and customers in an efficient and reliable manner. This individual will communicate with the team, customers and management regarding all work performed in a timely and routine basis. This is critical to the success of this position. A professional appearance and behavior must be maintained at all times. What You'll DoManage the day-to-day operations of a warehouse in a fast-paced environmentAssign and assist with workloads and daily tasks to purchasers and warehouse associatesOversee receiving and stocking of materials Monitor inventory and shipment transactions for accuracyImplement processes and procedures to maintain and improve operational efficiencies Pick orders and load trucks for delivery Occasionally make deliveries in a 10 to 15' box, pick-up truck, or cargo van Pick up/load homeowner orders from suppliers and help load/unload at job site Maintain clean and orderly warehouse and vehicles Ability to work weekdays and some Saturdays Complete team requests to aid in creating a "Red Bow Experience" Willingness to learn about HVAC systems, materials, supplies Ensure fleet of vehicles are properly maintainedAdditional duties as required What you'll need to succeed:High school diploma or GED required4 years' experience in fast-paced warehouse setting with a clear knowledge of warehouse operations OR equivalent field experience in the trades required2 years' experience effectively managing people requiredLeadership and organizational skills to run the warehouse efficientlyProficiency in inventory and/or invoice software, knowledge of ServiceTitan preferredStrong work ethic: reliable, dependable, punctual Friendly "service" attitude Detail Oriented and OrganizedSelf-motivated, ability to prioritize and proactResourceful and not satisfied in being a task-performer Eager to exceed expectations Able to lift 50+ lbs. and work in a safe and efficient manner Must have driver's license with clean record and able to drive box trucks, Sprinters, cargo vans and pick-up trucks (Required) Able to favorably pass a background check and drug screen (Required) Physical RequirementsMust be able to use standard office equipment such as telephone, computer, files, copier, etc.Physical dexterity in limbs and digits to operate hand and power-driven tools and equipment commonly used.Physical ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, and occasionally up to 100 pounds.Ability to continually walk, stand, climb, stoop, bend, kneel, reach in all directions.Ability to maintain balance working off the ground using ladders, scaffolds, and/or mechanical lifts.Ability to climb stairs and ladders and work in high, precarious places.Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.Ability to work outside; exposed to heat and cold.Ability to see and read with or without vision aids.Ability to hear and speak to exchange information.Ability to perform maintenance duties and read blueprints, drawings, and specifications.Job Specifics:Position Status: Regular full-time (40+ hours a week)FLSA Description: Exempt/SalariedReports To: General ManagerWork Schedule: 8+ hours/day, 5+ days per weekCompensation:Work Location(s): Pittsgrove, NJAbout Ace Hardware Home ServicesAce Hardware Home Services is the most trusted provider of home preservation services backed by Ace Hardware and offering a wide range of residential maintenance and home repair services including plumbing, heating, cooling, electrical, handyman and painting.Ace Hardware has been serving neighbors throughout America for nearly 100 years.
