We are seeking a Senior Director Finance! 

Reporting to the President & Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Senior Director of Finance is responsible for managing the financial operations of the organization, ensuring the organization’s financial health and sustainability. This role will oversee all financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and compliance requirements and will be responsible for the management and leadership of the Finance, Revenue Management, Information Technology, and Facilities departments; as well as all accounting functions, cash management, contract management, budget leadership and coordinator of the annual audit.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing financial leadership, control, process, and vision. This includes accurate and timely financial reporting, creating timely ad-hoc analyses, and meeting organizational timelines and deadlines.
• Responsible for driving the performance of the finance team, revenue cycle team, information technology team, and facilities management team.
• Ability to partner across the organization with multiple departments through the exchange of data, information, and frequent communication
• Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO based on financial analysis and projections, cost identification and allocation, and revenue/expense analysis.

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a closely related field is required.
• An MBA or Master’s degree in Finance or a related discipline is strongly preferred.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification is highly desirable.
• A minimum of 10-15 years of progressive financial management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, preferably as CFO, VP of Finance, or Senior Director of Finance in a non-profit organization.
• Proven ability to lead and manage finance teams effectively, fostering professional growth and team development.
• Demonstrated experience collaborating with executive leadership and engaging with board members on strategic financial planning and reporting.

In-depth knowledge of non-profit accounting standards, including fund accounting, and compliance with relevant financial reporting requirements (e.g., GAAP, FASB standards for non-profits).

Our client is located in Clearwater. This is a contract to hire position and benefits eligibility will be prorated to include time worked with Express Employment.
